If not for the fact that his voice was devoid of its usual levity, she would’ve treated it as a joke.
“We’ve both gotten under their skin,” Hawks continued, tone steady, “and I’ve got a feeling we might repeat that,” the hero explained before she could speak, the most predictable question already dancing on the tip of her tongue.
Truth be told, the girl didn’t know what to think about the offer, and she sure as hell had no idea what was going on inside his head. Hawks was a Rubik’s cube, and Uraraka was apparently color-blind. Screw this, she would even go as far as to say that with forty-three quintillion combinations and achromatopsia, the puzzle toy was probably easier to solve than this man.
As much as she felt honored that someone like the Number Two Hero would notice her — let alone propose working together — Uraraka couldn’t shake the feeling that there had to be a catch. There always was.
“So,” Hawks tilted his head to the side, golden eyes studying the wheels turning in hers with unsettling focus, “what’s it gonna be?” A faint grin tugged at his lips. “Do you have what it takes to work from the shadows, sunshine?”

After the death of his both his mother & All-Might, Izuku's been struggling to cope with his own emotional burden. He may have beaten Shigaraki and All For One, but his path to becoming the greatest hero is far from over.
Old struggles replaced with new ones. After his brutal beat-down on the Villains, Class 1A has come to fear him and his unrivaled power. His mastery over One For All only having grown since then. But power comes at a price.
His price?
loneliness.
His life was at a all time low.
But then, he met a woman by the name of Yu Takeyama.
and everything was suddenly flipped on it's head.

Yu Takeyama's life has gone to shit. More so then it already was. Everybody wears a mask and hers just so happened to be her hero persona. In reality, she wasn't like that. And continually playing the part was getting old.
She's so done. She can barley even find it in-herself to get up in the mornings anymore
But then.. Salvation comes in the form she least expected.
She's not in this by her lonesome anymore.
Now, She too, has somebody to love and rely on.
Upon meeting Izuku Midorya, suddenly, everything changed for the better.
