Hello, this is a series of stories I write based on my gaming experience. In this series, Overwatch is just a video game, all the characters acknowledge their existence as video game characters and the story behind it, they know their stories but they do not have any grudges against each other like in the lore. They also meet up with each other after every match in the headquarters. It’s like an actor AU if you will, all of them have normal to friendly relationships; they may hate each other in a way but not because a particular someone brainwashed them or fixed them into a monster (yes I’m talking about you Moira). However they have their original characteristics.
So please enjoy this with an open-mind, a lot of game terms can be used.

After getting out of Talon, Dr. de Kuiper got recruited into the Overwatch team. However, due to his unstable mental health and past injuries, he couldn't go on the field, actually using his power to help. It is not reccomended, anyway. So, an astrophysicist has to do what an astrophysicist were to do: star gazing.
