“I believe there’s been a misunderstanding.” Robin says calmly to the shopkeeper who glances back and forth between her and Zoro who is standing dumbly in the doorway. “The bird my crewmate is carrying is not a pet. She is a service animal.”
“A what?” Both Zoro and the woman ask.
“A service animal.” Robin continues. “You are familiar with the visually impaired having dogs help them navigate places. My friend here is very directionally challenged. The south bird is a mobility assistant. Nothing more.”
