Summary
When a postcard arrives written in the handwriting of a man who has been dead for years, Leon S. Kennedy follows it to a town called Silent Hill where the fog is thick and something in the dark knows his name.
Haunted by memories of Bryan Hodukavich, the mysterious courier he fell in love with and failed to save, Leon must navigate a nightmare to get to the bottom of this final correspondence.
If dead men tell no tales, they have no business sending postcards either.

Summary
In any universe, falling in love with Leon S. Kennedy should come with a warning.
Bryan knows that or, at least, he really should.
Sometimes, Leon is the ridiculously handsome stranger sitting beside his hospital bed, claiming to be his fiancé after an accident robbed Bryan of five years' worth of memories. Other times, he's a college student who's far too charming for his own good, a hopelessly devoted husband, an absurdly overprotective father, or a man willing to cross any line to keep the person he loves by his side.
The circumstances change. So do their stories. Some are filled with tenderness, laughter, and an almost embarrassing amount of happiness. Others prove just how dangerously thin the line between love and obsession can be.
But two things always seem to remain the same: Leon S. Kennedy inevitably falls hopelessly, madly in love with Bryan, and Bryan, no matter how much he protests, has an absolutely incurable weakness for that damn blue-eyed blond.

Summary
Nikki climbs into the passenger seat, and Bryan gets in behind the wheel. She opens the glove box where they keep all their CDs and begins to rifle through them.
She holds one up, and he shrugs. He lets her choose whatever she wants to listen to when he drives her to and from work, since he can control the radio for the rest of the day while he delivers.
It's also worth it to see the grin that immediately lights up her face. "Yes!"
Indie rock fills the car's speakers, and Nikki leans back in her seat, satisfied. She sings along with the moody lead for the entirety of the drive, eyes closed except for when the singer reaches her high, long notes, which Nikki belts out with her whole chest.

Summary
"Where are they going?" Bryan asked. "Is that it? Is it, like, church? Bingo night? Did we just get saved by the bell?"
Leon didn't answer right away, mostly because he was grieving. He'd had the bingo joke loaded and ready since the first toll of the bell, and now a man in a hi-vis vest had walked up and stolen it from him in broad daylight.
