Summary
Changbin was stuck on lifeless pattern after breaking up with his ex. He was tired and had no reason to deviate from his exhausting routine. Until Hyunjin. Hyunjin, who was striking and captivating and cold like ice. So different from what he was used to. With him, it was easy to forget. Easy to start something new. After a few hours of meeting each other and finding out they want the same thing, they agree to start a relationship.

A slight tilt of the man’s head gave Changbin everything he needed to realize what the look in his eyes were. Expectancy. Like he was waiting for something to happen, something new and interesting, something different. It woke something deep inside Changbin, something that made him realize he wanted the same thing. That he was tired and wanted something that would make him feel alive for longer than a night, something striking and terrifying and beautiful. Someone like the man looking at him with a dare in his eyes, daring Changbin to make a move, to do something different, to be something different.

He coughed, trying to regain his composure and willing the haze inside his mind to fade away. He didn’t want to miss a chance to talk to this fairy, this angel in front of him. “Hey there, beautiful. Are you alone?”
The beautiful man raised a brow before rolling his eyes and sighing. It was a beautiful sigh that had Changbin wanting to release an admiring sigh of his own. “No, I actually came here with an idiot but it seems as though he has forgotten me again.”

Kojiro sighed yet again, smiling around his beer at the girl hanging on his arm, looking up at him hopefully. This was usually his thing. Parties, people, a bit of drinking, women. When he’d first started staying with Kaoru, nannying him during his recuperation, he couldn’t wait to get back to this lifestyle.
Maybe he was just out of practice.
Yeah, that had to be it.
The beer wasn’t going down fast enough, not tasting good tonight at all—though he had to admit that wasn’t the beer’s fault. Just like it wasn’t this girl’s fault—or the girl on his other side, very un-subtly pressing her boobs against his arm. No, the beer was perfectly…beery, the women perfectly attractive, the music perfectly too-loud, the atmosphere perfectly upbeat and sexy and cheery.
It was him.
His phone vibrated in his back pocket, startling him out of his thoughts and he frowned at the screen. The name was familiar—too familiar. But she’d certainly never called him before. He didn’t actually know she could.
Suddenly too many eyes were on him and he smiled sheepishly as he answered the call.
