Summary
The year is 1975 at Hogwarts. With summer approaching, most students are basking in the sun, but Severus Snape is lurking in the shadows. Without Lily in his life, nothing feels right. He's longing for a sense of peace, a moment of quiet. But once he finds it, his whole world shifts.
He never thought he'd end up entangled with a Hufflepuff, but there is a sort of peace in knowing that the "spider girl" also knows the sting of jeers and the raw vulnerability of being an outcast. In her company, he finds his walls breaking down, and the more he follows the threads of her oddities, the more he's encased in her web.

Summary
Severus has loved Lily since he was eight years old, and he knew he always would. He had given up on hoping that she would forgive him, and on hoping that they would ever have a future together. But he had not given up on his hatred for Potter and Black. So long as they continued to bully him he would continue to give as good as he got. What he didn't plan for though, was meeting someone who changed the way he saw everything. But what does he do when that someone is the sibling of his biggest rival? She would never choose him, but he couldn't stop himself from falling in love with yet another lost cause.
Edith Potter was very loved by everyone she knew. Her parents and brother adored her. She was beautiful, kind, and generous. She was the type of person to see good in somebody. Even when they thought there was no good to be found. Which is why she couldn't bring herself to hate Severus Snape the way her brother and his friends did. Edith didn't see what they saw. She saw someone who was broken and misunderstood. Someone who needed the help and support of a genuine friend. What she didn't prepare for however, were the intense feelings that came with that friendship, and the heartbreak that was sure to follow..
