There's a lot of things people can do in front of him. Magnus isn't the type to mind. He generally doesn't care about stuff. What he does care about, however, is whether or not such things have an effect on his lover. There's only so much he can take when that happens, like how sometimes he has to bite back insults when people sneakily get too close to Hikaru for his comfort.
His worst fear? Someone making Hikaru laugh. They can tease and compliment him as much as they want. But to make Hikaru snort and grin like that? No. That is HIS job, and his alone.
