“Tartaglia, Mr. Fifteen-Counts-of-Felony, loves kids,” Lumine deadpans. “Wow, you sound so sure. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you knew him.”
“Ah, well,” Ajax rubs the back of his neck, the flush crawling down underneath his collar. “Intuition? I’m a pretty good people reader.”
Klee is the terminally ill nine-year-old who holds a love of arson. Tartaglia is the twelve-foot supervillain whose idea of a fun Friday night is blowing up the town hall. Ajax is some guy who works at the café down the street.
And Lumine?
