Summary
After Star Court and the Russians, Steve has trouble sleeping. Even when he does manage to fall asleep, the nightmares wake him up and he can't get back to sleep. Nothing he's tried so far has helped: enter Eddie Munson. Steve goes to Eddie for an herbal remedy to help his problem, but on the way to meet him, stumbles upon a strange plant in the woods and ends up with a face full of weird spores. Noticing that Steve seems under the weather, Eddie offers to drive him home and help him out, but it turns out what he's got is a hell of a lot different than the common cold.

Robin follows Steve’s gaze toward the stage where Eddie Munson prances around, wild hair flying back and forth as he bounces to his mark, always high in spirits and unfettered energy, be it while speaking in iambic pentameter, mocking Tommy for his embarrassing attempt at an English accent, or flirting with anyone who stepped foot inside the Hawkins Community Playhouse.
Robin sighs next to Steve, but he pays no mind to her softly muttered “Oh, dammit.”

Summary
Steve Harrington has a secret.
That fact in and of itself is hardly a surprise; everyone has secrets. Eddie has a few of his own, of varying degrees. Some that he only shares with Gareth and Jeff and Freak. Others that only Wayne could ever be trusted with. And more still that he keeps to himself, keeps close to the chest lest anyone use them to hurt him. There's also things like the secret of the Upside Down. The carefully constructed cover story, protected by NDA upon NDA. The secret that he shares with Dustin and his friends. With Nancy and Robin and Steve fucking Harrington.
So yeah. Steve is allowed to have secrets too.
Eddie doesn't think anyone was meant to find out this one.

Summary
