Dainsleif frowns. He has never, in his entire life, been delusional enough to think he could pull Diluc Ragnvindr, but still, harsh.
“Okay ? Neither am I,” he says blankly, because he has no idea of how he’s supposed to react to this statement.
“Then why did Yelan give you my address?" Diluc asks, crossing his arms.
It occurs to Dainsleif that he isn’t the only person Yelan has victimized in the past forty-eight hours. He puts Diluc out of his misery.
“I’m the photographer.”

“I locked him in the library,” Lisa says in a flat tone, like it’s a normal thing that happens every other Tuesday. “Stay here and keep an eye on him.”
“Me?” Dainsleif asks. “Did you not hear the part where he keeps telling me he’s in love with me? I’m litterally the worst choice.”
He elegantly does not mention Diluc crowding him against a wall this morning, whispering things in his ear that he shall not repeat out loud, but he hopes his panicked tone conveys the urgency of the matter well enough.
“Well I can’t find the antidote if I stay in here,” Lisa says. “I have to go find Donna and ask exactly what was in it. Unless, of course, you want me to ask Kaeya or Master Jean for help.”
Dainsleif considers it. Diluc would probably be mortified if any of them knew, but they can’t leave him like this. Although, he personally could get used to him telling him he loves him ten times a day.
“Fine,” he sighs, praying that he’s strong enough. “Go, I will watch over him.”

“Don’t worry, I’m not competition.”
Dainsleif scoffs.
“I wasn’t worried about anything. I do not get emotionally involved with the citizens of the Seven.”
Yelan laughs so loudly the Abyss Mages probably hear her from the bottom of the Chasm. For such an elegant lady, she sounds like a hyena.

In the end, perhaps Varka found himself in this predicament by underestimating Flins. He shouldn't have. It is far from the first time the Lightkeeper has flipped the script on him.
So Varka stares, bewildered, as the most beautiful man in the room gives invaluable insight to the meeting, while keeping his hand on him like it’s nothing.
Varka’s nails dig into his palm. He’s survived far more difficult situations than this one, hasn’t he?

“That is almost half,” Dottore argues pettily. Pantalone’s expression darkens in aggravation.the approval for dottore's funding may or may not depend on the success of the peculiar courting attempts of the ninth. it's just too bad that dottore is not particularly attentive to them
