Summary

He only knew that the first time it happened to him, Zanka was thinking seriously about taking his own life upon seeing a purple flower on the floor after he coughed painfully.
How was it possible to love someone that you deeply hated?
Or, Jabber didn't digest very well that Zanka was about to die for such a stupid reason, and was ready to do everything to save him, even if the man himself didn't wish for that.

It was perfect, really. Jabber’s mania had just settled in and she would love nothing more than to fight. Who better than Zanka? She was fun to rage bait and even more fun to wrestle with. “Hey, Zanny…” Jabber greeted her in a singsong voice before lighting up for another hit that she would certainly blow in Zanka’s direction. Zanka had deadpanned at her, making Jabber laugh out loud. “Still got that stick up ya ass, yeah?”
Zanka’s face twisted at the nickname. “Do not call me that!”
