In the midst of all the chaos, the Conspicary members come to the realization that to cheer up their leader, they should get rid of the biggest problem on his mind. They all know Saparata is his only weakness, only one clouding his judgment. It must be because he is afraid that the framed Saparata will out their plans. Why would he be thinking about him all day, everyday?

"Fluixon, I don't know what you expected me to do!"
A growl coming deep within Saparata's throat echoes the room. It has a not-so-hidden tint of desperation, maybe of frustration. His grey, big eyes find Fluixon's slender lavender ones. They have bit of a puff, probably a mix of crying and sleep deprivation. Fluixon opens his mouth a couple times, not having the energy to even breathe. The reply comes with a quiet, poor whisper.
"Love me anyways."

Summary
Saparata did what had to be done. He struck Fluixon down in the colosseum and ended the encapsulating war that begun with the two of them. Finally reached peace among the islands.
Only for Saparata to wake up somewhere completely new, with the events of the past nothing but a distant memory, and a shiver down his spine that suggested things would be very different this time around.

Summary
Saparata and Fluixon meet each other in the colosseum for the final time. There on the bloody sands, Flux takes his final breath.
Several hours later, he takes one more.
(Fluixon survives AU, focused on the broken relationship between Flux and Saps, along with Saps learning to return to a society that (mostly) no longer wants him dead. And all of the emotional baggage the events of the past have left them with)
