Summary
Sunghoon gazes at Jake snapping pictures of the pretty view under them. The gradient in the sky and the color reflecting off of Jake’s honey skin makes Sunghoon feel like he's on a different planet.
They come to a halt at the top, and Jake finally puts his fucking phone down to beam at Sunghoon. "Wah, it's so cool! I can't believe I used to be afraid of these things, everything's so-"
Jake gets cut off by a loud whirring buzz that sounds like something's powering down, followed by countless gasps and Sunghoon peers down to see the workers pressing furiously at the panel, to no avail. The lights have powered off, and Sunghoon and Jake are stuck directly at the top.
"Sunghoon.. um, did we just..." Jake asks hesitantly, silently praying that what he just thought happened didn’t happen.
"Yes, the ferris wheel just broke down, Yun." Sunghoon deadpans, hiding his face in his hands in shame.
alternatively,
Sunghoon has to confess to Jake before summer ends and he has to leave to study abroad in Australia possibly forever!

"Stay away from me, Park Sunghoon. I'll do as you said, so do the same. Let's have nothing to do with each other. After all, what does a freak have to do with you anyway?"
There wasn't even a glare on Jaeyun's face, nor any sign of anger. It was as if his emotions had completely shut down, leaving him in a state of hollowness.
Sunghoon flinced at how cold and distant Jaeyun looked and sounded. Sure, in the brief time they had spoken, Jaeyun had been largely expressionless, but this felt terrifying. It was as if an invisible line between them had just been cut.
Or Sunghoon prefers temporary things. But how does he handle himself when he is drawn to a certain guy with glasses whom he wants to make permanent, despite the man finding his very existence vexing?
