And considering her kid’s Pirate King now, it would be a fool’s bet to think he hadn’t got himself wrapped up in some new adventure or another and ended up bragging her to fucking Marinefort of all place. "I didn't do nuthing!" yelled back at her from the crowd of marines and pirates told her she was spot on, even if the brat himself probably did not know at this point what in Nika's name he managed to do in order to drag her back not only from the embrace of death but toss her back in time as well
But that mattered little now. The brat was alive and would stay alive. It's her other brat that she's worried about. It doesn’t more than a cursory glance to notice her surroundings. Because there, up on the scaffold, alive - still thankfully alive and he would stay like that if she had anything to say about it - Ace chortles in surprise and gasped a word he had not used since he was knee high.
