Izuku shut his eyes against another wave of nausea and tried to focus.
What he got were bits and pieces.
Floaty laughter and loud music. Bitter alcohol that numbed his tongue.
Fingers carding through his hair.
Kacchan’s furious: “If you don’t get out of this fucking car—!”
Shattering glass.
Kacchan breathing hard while Izuku straddled him, pulled his hair, and grazed his teeth along his neck.
Izuku gasped and covered his mouth, eyes bulging when they finally met Kacchan’s glare.

Or:Izuku never understood the world beyond his repressive church. Shackled underneath the "Umbrella of Protection," he's believed stepping outside of its security can be fatal. Followers of the church will never hold hands, kiss, or share a bed before marriage. Music with drums is said to invoke God's wrath. Even the smallest act of defiance is met with the promise of eternal damnation. Bound by fear, Izuku must obey the church's law.
A surprise college project tests that theory when Izuku is paired with Bakugou Katsuki. The same nightmare of arriving at school after presenting suddenly at the tender young age of 14.
The same nightmare of everyone being able to notice his scent despite them not yet presenting.
The same nightmare of his crush and once childhood best friend covering his nose as he sneered at him in disgust.

Izuku has struggled to make friends even before he presented as a prime omega; but after moving to the states after he presented and meeting his beta best friend, life hasn't been so bad. So when his childhood best friend and first crush comes back into his life, he was wholly unprepared for his feelings to rush back and even maybe be reciprocated.
