Will mentions his crush and Mike can't look at him.

Will looks similar to how he did then, in the van; as his words flowed in complex half truths, eyes teary. The most heartfelt lies scattered all through his words, for reasons Mike couldn’t understand at the time. It still feels so foggy, so out of reach. Mike sees the tears roll down Will’s face, his hands clench tighter on his leg, resisting. He looks down and almost sees the crusty floor of that dumb van, hands fisted in black trousers instead.
