Summary
“You told me 'It’ll help someone I care about.' Who is that?”
Xie Lian widens his eyes slightly, puzzled by the sudden question. “Why does it matter? Whether it’s a stray on the street or my beloved, it didn’t change the outcome. I still ended up here.”
Hua Cheng’s brow furrowed deeply. The brush in his hand trembled, dragging a dark stroke across the page and destroying the half-formed character he’s been working on. “You must’ve cared for them a hell of a lot—to throw everything away without hesitation. To offer yourself to me so easily.”
He locked eyes with Xie Lian. “But they clearly didn’t care half as much, did they? They let you walk straight into a pit of demons. They let you become mine. What kind of person does that to someone they love?”
Or
Everyone in Ghost City is cursed to lose all memories of Xie Lian. To break the curse, Xie Lian needs Hua Cheng to say "I love you" to him. What better way to get Hua Cheng to fall for him than to offer himself up as a bride?

Summary
Shi Qingxuan sat in the car for a moment after taking out the key, looking over at Xie Lian and calmly asking, "You sure you're okay with this? I know getting a tattoo can be nerve-racking and seem like a big decision."
Xie Lian nodded firmly. "Yeah, I'm okay, I've got this. Let's go." He took one more deep breath before he got out of the car, looking up at the sign of the shop. It had red flowers engraved along both sides, with big lettering that read
GHOST CITY TATTOOS
Or: The Xie Family home burned down mysteriously in the night, leaving nothing but ash in its wake. Ten years later, Xie Lian escapes the man who saved him and has to learn how to live again. His new temporary roommate Shi Qingxuan brings him to get tattoos on a 'self care day', where he meets a strange but alluring tattoo artist he immediately wants to befriend.

@CrimsonRainSoughtFlowerASMR would like to message you accept. Accept message request?
CrimsonRainSoughtFlowerASMR: Hello, hope you are doing well. I recently came across some of your videos online (your trinket videos are my favorite) and was wondering if you would be open for a collab? No worries if not, just let me know.
Xie Lian thinks he's dreaming, but when he clicks on his profile, it is real. Staring at the 40 million subscriber count, he thinks to himself that this must be a prank. CrimsonRainSoughtFlower, or his real name Hua Cheng was a well known ASMRist online, if not one of the most popular ones in all of China. He had high quality microphones, a perfect ambient red lighting in all of his videos but what he was most known for in his fanbase was his voice. Even as a celibate man, Xie Lian had to admit and admire how sexy CrimsonRainSoughtFlower's voice was. He was an absolute celebrity on the platform for it with millions thirsting in his comments every day, so why on earth was CrimsonRainSoughtFlower messaging him?

Xie Lian and Hua Cheng both own ASMR channels, they decide to collab and heal their traumas related to touch.
