At the start of winter, Utahime starts to cough up blood.
She thinks maybe its just the lingering damage from her last mission, but the coughing persists and it starts to scratch her throat, and itch at her lungs and when she finally makes the trip to Tokyo to ask Shoko for her help, she doesn't even get the first word out.
Shoko welcomes her at the entrance to Tokyo Metropolitan Technical School and Utahime hacks up a single, pale blue petal, smattered with blood. She stares down at the flora on the ground and wonders if she's been cursed.
Utahime looks up, and Shoko's eyes are wide.

"Gojo," Utahime said, her voice soft. A kind of sweetness that made his heart ache.
"You're going to have to take the train to Kyoto,” he said, his voice strained. “I don't think I can warp you.” He didn't think he could be around her at all.
"If we do this," she continued, and Gojo snapped his eyes open. "We do it my way."
"You mean…" he trailed off, not wanting to say anything that might risk this for him.
Utahime nodded, and he let out a shaky breath.
"Anything you want," he said, maybe a little too quickly. A little too eagerly.
Utahime chewed on the inside of her cheek. He felt a little dazed looking at her.
"Have you ever been muzzled?"
Utahime is an omega who refuses to mate with anyone, and Gojo is an alpha who refuses to mate with anyone who isn’t Utahime. After years of dreaming about it, Gojo gets handed the opportunity to ride out an unplanned heat with her, but under one condition.
