Summary
As much as he liked to say that Batman worked alone, he didn't. Doesn't take a detective to work that out, nevermind someone who was considered the world's best. There was always some kid with wide eyes and a yellow cape that followed him around everywhere, from the halls of the manor to Gotham's foggy skyline. Some kid that wouldn't think twice about leaping off a construction crane when they knew Batman was near; when they knew he would catch them with the same gloved hands he would use to fondly sweep the hair out of their face. Some kid that definitely wouldn't allow him to get to this state. Batman has always had help. Now he didn't. Not anymore, now that Damian was in college.
All Robins have officially flown the coop.
It wasn't something he liked to think about.
