    He didn’t know why he was explaining this to her; why he was bothering to educate her on something that should have been so obvious. It couldn’t be helped, he supposed, he had changed from back then–even if it was just a small amount.

    Through the efforts of Kiritsugu Emiya, his dream had been tempered. Through the effort of his parents, however, his body of steel was reforged.
