Renjun moves behind him, opens the window, and takes out the zombie trying to climb in, without missing a beat.
“Wha—” he fires again, cutting off blondie, who was staring at Renjun with a terrifying intensity that could unnerve anyone within arm’s reach. He stares and stares, digging a hole into Renjun’s soul.
“They were about to eat you, I didn't need a front-row seat to that horror show,” Renjun quipped, smoothly chambering a round in his pistol, ready for the next undead intruder.
“Is it way too forward to ask if we can use these condoms right now?”
“I don’t even know your name,” Renjun retorted, though his thoughts were less on the unspoken offer and more on the satisfying weight of the pink pistol in his hand. The high from Mark's spiked brownies had him far too preoccupied to think about anything but the next shot.
(Renjun and Jaemin try to survive a zombie apocalypse as high school teenagers. They fall in love in the midst of it all.)
