    Izuku’s past is filled with ghosts.

    He knows all about what happens in the dark, shadowy dregs of society. As Ghost, a police consultant, it has helped him to solve cases. As Midoriya Izuku, his past is a burden to him, something to ignore. Then he gets into UA and everything in his life seems to decide to not go along with that strategy anymore.

    They say ghosts will come back to haunt the living if you don’t deal with them. Turns out that also applies to the people and things from Izuku’s past.

    Or: Izuku has a quirk like All For One. Said villain is back at it again with traumatizing children for life. Shouta just desperately wants this kid to trust him.

    UA's latest training exercise sounds simple: survive a week without getting "taken out."

    Each student in Classes 1-A and 1-B is assigned a target. Each receives a dull training knife and a pressure-sensitive sensor. Attacks are allowed anywhere—except the dorms and bathrooms—and if a teacher catches you, the strike doesn’t count. Eliminate your target, and don't get eliminated yourself. Get caught, and you’re out… unless you choose to return as an informant.

    It starts as a game. It quickly becomes something else.

    For Izuku Midoriya, the exercise spirals into days of sleepless nights, calculated betrayals, and tense alliances as friends turn into hunters and the line between survival and strategy blurs. But what begins as a simulated test of stealth and skill evolves into something far more personal: a lesson in trust, resilience, and the cost of victory.

    Forty students entered. Only one can walk away the winner.

    Every supervillain has a nemesis. All for One’s nemesis is a boy who, although he has all the skills required for world domination, continues to use them to be a thorn in All for One’s side.

    Solution? Adopt.

    It does not go as planned. Now he has a fake nephew who is still determined to take him down (outside of the house, anyway—they somehow manage to be a fully functional family when All for One isn’t doing crime). He’s read plenty of parenting books and none of them explain how to stop your kid from destroying your criminal empire.

    OR: Izuku overthinks everything and intentionally gets himself kidnapped by All for One. Chaos ensues.
