    Tim prided himself on the fact that he was mature for his age. It was something grown-ups always complimented; his ability to act like an adult. He wasn't a kid, he didn't have tantrums or hold things against others. He knew that when Bruce lashed out at him, it was just a means of release. He knew, when Dick accidentally called him "Jaybird", it was because he was a mourning big brother. Why would it be? He was mature. He understood that they were mourning, that he was just a means to end. He knew this fact well, so why? Why did one line from Kon have him unraveling?

    "You're allowed to be angry, Tim."

    TL;DR: Tim has a justified crash-out.
