“Buck,” Eddie breathes, and he’s not sure which one of them moves first, but then Buck’s in his arms, his face buried in the crook of Eddie’s neck.
“Hi,” he murmurs, pulling back, sounding just as winded as Eddie feels. His uniform is rumpled and creased, the smell of jetfuel clinging to his skin, and Eddie doesn’t think he’s ever seen anyone more beautiful. “You miss me, or something?”
