Summary
Despite her maid’s trembling, Yoona’s curiosity pulled her toward the commotion. In the center of a gathering crowd stood a makeshift wooden platform. Several people were standing on it, or rather, they were being displayed.

Compared to the others, she looked painfully unrefined. She was tall but lanky, her shoulders surprisingly broad for her frame. Her black hair was chopped short and jagged and she kept her head tucked low, hiding her face. Her clothes were a fraction better than the others, but still little more than rags. Her skin, however, was strikingly white and clean compared to the filth around her.
Miss Yoona bought herself a new servant, and what happened after that.

"About last night…" Jinsol was the first to break the silence.
"Last night I was drunk." Yoona cut her off, staring at her coffee cup. "You took me home, and then… it happened."
"That's all?" Jinsol's voice rose a little unconsciously.
Yoona looked up at her. “What else? What are you trying to say?”
Jinsol couldn’t get the words out. What was she trying to say? That it wasn’t just a one-night thing. That she actually had feelings for Yoona. That she hoped it was a beginning, not an ending. But looking at Yoona’s calm face, all those words stuck in her throat.
Something happened, and it opened up a new path for them.

But Jinsol didn't seem bothered by the crowd or Yoona's awkwardness. She stood up, rubbing her back with a wince but still grinning brightly.
“That actually hurt. You owe me one. I just saved your life.”
She was joking, but before she could say more, Yoona shot her a look and grabbed her by the wrist, dragging her off under the curious stares of the crowd.
“H-Hey, where are we going? I was joking, I’m totally fine!”
Jinsol stumbled after her, heart pounding under Yoona’s touch. The spot on her wrist where Yoona held her felt like it was burning up. Over the past two years, they had crossed paths during student council meetings, and Jinsol had occasionally teased her a few times, but Yoona always acted so cold so it can’t say that they were close. This was the first time she'd ever been this close to her.
