“You’re like the hottest guy in school.”
“Taehyun,” Beomgyu whispered. “Why do you know who the hottest guy in school is?”
“Because it’s you," Taehyun said, with his voice also hushed, like it was the most obvious thing in the world to him.
Beomgyu’s metal band is his entire life. And Beomgyu knows the perfect guy to fill in after their singer quits… and it doesn’t hurt that Beomgyu has sort of been in love with him for 3 years straight. His pick— Kang Taehyun— is the student council president, captain of the track team, the lead of every school musical, and all around one of the most popular guys in the student body. He’s the perfect poster boy of academic and social bliss…And he doesn’t even like it.
Maybe what Taehyun actually likes is heavy music, singing his heart out, and a boy with shoulder length hair who doesn’t seem to care what anyone else in the world thinks of him.

“You asked me here for advice on how to court Jimin” Taehyung repeated shakily, biting his lip hard as he attempted to reign in his emotions. He closed his eyes tight for a long second before looking up sharply, suddenly angry, “It’s the first of September, hyung.”
Yoongi’s eyebrows rose at the tone, “I know.”
“The beginning of courting season.”
Yoongi nodded.
Taehyung laughed in disbelief, feeling a little hysterical. “And you asked me out, bought me coffee, on the first of September, the beginning of courting season, alone.”
It was quiet as Yoongi thought about his words, the silence between them stretching on until it was almost too much to bear. It was evident on his face when he finally understood, forcing Taehyung to look away, unable to meet his eyes as he felt the full extent of his humiliation settle around him.
“You thought-” Yoongi began, taking a deep breath, “You thought I was trying to court you.”
A curt nod.
“And you still came?”
Taehyung glared, “Of course I came.”

Its uncommon for betas to court omegas, and even more uncommon for omegas to court anyone at all. Yoongi and Taehyung were never the biggest fans of tradition.

“Together with their families, Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin… Wow, this is formal… Wait,” Hoseok squints at the paper, before looking back at Yoongi with a quizzical look on his face. “They invited you with a guest? But… You’re single, right?”
“Min Yoongi,” Jimin glares at him over the bar, crossing his arms sternly over his chest. “If you’re seeing someone and you didn’t tell us I will kick your ass, so help me god.”
“I’m not dating anyone,” Yoongi sighs, grabbing the invitation and scanning it quickly. The words “with a guest” are underlined and Yoongi can almost see it: the smugness on his brother’s face as he nods with satisfaction, putting the pencil down.
“So what does it mean?”
Yoongi shifts uncomfortably in his seat, avoiding making eye contact.
"I might’ve… invented a boyfriend," he finally mumbles to the glass in front of him.

Six years later, Hiccup has royally fucked up– Hiccup has severely underestimated Drago, and now Hiccup is cramped, tired, hungry, without his prosthetic, and he really, really, really misses Toothless.
Imagine his surprise (read: complete and utter dread) when he wakes up one day to see absolutely none other than Astrid Hofferson, Snotlout Jorgenson, Fishlegs Ingerman, and Ruffnut and Tuffnut Thorston sitting in the cell across from him.
