Summary
“Hyung,” Minho already knew he was a fool for what was about to come out of his mouth, but it didn’t matter all that much anymore, “did you ever fall in love?”
It was mostly sad, the compassionate look Chan tried to offer him. Minho still appreciated the way he tried to lighten it up by scrunching his nose in disgust.
“Love can be beautiful,” Chan decided, absentmindedly cleaning the bar keeping them apart, “just not for us.”

Summary
Despite the newer air of affluence painting the work of art that is Lee Minho, he is almost exactly as Jisung remembers him four years ago—a shooting star on a foggy, cloud-scattered night. He is a favorite color buried in a sea of wildflowers, a wishful thought that skirts along the edges of the most obscure dreams. He is fine lines and award-winning talent and he is in front of Jisung cooing over his cats and softening at the seams.
Jisung tamps down the small, petulant voice in the back of his mind that says Minho wants this, and he could want more. He squishes the voice down under the soles of his feet, stomping it away and wishing it could stop storming his head with fantastical concepts that are just that: fantasy and nothing more.

Summary
It’s desperation that drives Felix to place himself at the mercy of someone he has no right to expect kindness from. Six months on the street with his funds running low, if one of his father’s men doesn’t kill him then the oncoming winter will. Going to Chan is a decided risk, he might put a bullet in Felix's skull instead of taking on the job he's offering, but— well. At least that death will be quick.
But Chan doesn’t kill him. He gives Felix shelter, gives him a home. And Felix finds himself in way too deep with a man who doesn’t even fully know who he’s falling for.
