"Oh come on Harrington, you're going to tell me that you can't dance?"
"I can dance, I just don't want to." Steve lied. He didn't know how to dance. The last time he did it was during his senior prom and even that was just swaying side to side with the occasional dip. Steve didn't have time to learn.
Eddie bent over dramatically, holding his hand out for Steve. "Then would you allow this lowly peasant a dance, your majesty?"
They were alone in an empty parking lot. Nothing but the company of the moon. Music echoed from behind Steve, painfully reminding him what he was supposed to be doing. He was chaperoning the dance for his kids, not flirting with their history teacher but he wasn't sure he'd ever get a chance like this again. The chance to feel the warm embrace of someone who made his heart leap. Was he going to embarrass himself? Oh yeah. But it was going to be worth it.
"I don't think you could keep up, Munson."

Summary
During their freshman year together, Eddie decides to play a harmless prank on Steve. He slips an anonymous love letter into Steve’s locker to make the pretty boy think he has a secret admirer.
Seeing Steve’s smile and flushed cheeks as he reads the letter makes Eddie’s heart skip a beat and somehow he finds himself writing another letter, as a joke, obviously.
But 2 letters turns into 4, then 10, then 20. For the entirety of their high school years together, Eddie slips anonymous letters into Steve’s locker, not quite sure when they stopped being a joke.

Summary
There were a lot of strange things in Zuko's life. His Uncle, the current Firelord, was probably the strangest and that fact never seemed like it would ever change as they faced a period of peace between the nations after several years of on and off war. Civil wars seemed inevitable, but their disputes had been long resolved by the time he decided to spend a couple months traveling the Earth Kingdom on the back of his beloved ostrich horse. Set to meet his cousin in Omashu where Prince Lu Ten was attending an annual festival thrown by King Bumi as an honored guest, Zuko didn't mind taking his leisurely time to get there. With two weeks to spare to cross the Si Wong Desert, he was enjoying the sights when his efforts were suddenly cut short.
One minute they're tiredly trudging through the wilderness to find a fitting place to bed down and wait out an encroaching storm, and the next, they're tucked inside a strange cocoon covered in a mucus-y membrane. With his ostrich horse at his side, Zuko is determined to find out what in Agni's name is going on, and how to get back home. Unbeknownst to him, there is more that exists beyond the stars.
