really great story. i absolutely loved the characters and side characters in this story. the side characters felt soooo important to the story's progression and i really appreciate how the author didn't just forget about them later in the story. the way they interacted with each other and spoke felt super super canon and i loved that. the writing was great honestly, nothing super special but it was good all around, no complaints. i felt this story was really dialogue heavy (or like inner monologue) which was cool and I'd never really seen something like that before. i really liked the use of setting (although it did get a little confusing sometimes) and location and it really contributed to the atmosphere in this story. the story was something ELSE. i absolutely LOVED the plot of this story. i loved how it redid some of the shows original moments but in like a modern setting. it surprisingly felt new and original. i also liked how it didn't just focus on redoing specific moments from the show but actually tried (and successfully) made a new plot while still being in some ways canon. first 10 chapters were genuinely amazing. the plot had me so drawn in and i was absolutely hooked. i loved the progressing relationships alot of the characters were having and alot of them were really unique. after towards the middle of the fic i felt the story was a little rushed. i could see the vision, and i was absolutely there for it, but as the chapters went on alot of the important info was just sort of put out there and briefly mentioned. an additional 10 or 15 chapters would have really solidified the ideas that were (i felt) really left out as a result of the 22 chapter cap. the additional chaps would have allowed more to be written about specific events that (i felt) were really briefly touched on like the kidnapping, erwin & ymir, levi's story, carla jaegar, and the whole zeke shenanigan at the end. i also felt the marley folks story could have been explained a little better, maybe some backstory? i didn't really understand (maybe it was explained and i just missed it) WHY exactly they were forced to work for zeke. also, teen pregnancy? what the FUCK? shit was completely unnecessary and i KNOW it was just for the sole purpose of revealing that they (marley folk) worked for zeke. definitely should have rewritten and left that shit out. epilogue that went into detail on it? absolutely unnecessary. did not need that least chapter honestly. at least the intimate stuff wasn't really touched on.
all in all, pretty good fic with great use of characters and good writing that influenced the setting and atmosphere pretty well. amazing plot that had soooo much potential and could have really been fleshed out with the addition of some chapters.

i wasn't really feeling this fic at first, but i honestly slowly came to really like it. the idea felt kind of new to me and i was a little uncertain whether or not it would have been a story for me. the whole plot centers around fighting and mma so i kind of struggled to really connect with it. but i pushed through and i think it was super worth it. the fights were actually so fucking good i REALLY enjoyed them. the porco fight and the anticipation before and during had me hooked COMPLETELY. the rivalry with reiner in the later chapters was great and i really liked how as the story progressed the details behind what happened actually became clearer. that sort of idea (details behind an event or some specific scenario becoming clearer later) was seen alot throughout this fic and i actually really enjoyed it, as it contributed to the angsty vibe. reiner vs eren fight was hype asf and it felt like season 2 all over again. writing was great (as expected from fevvers) which made these fights 10x better. i could visualize the moves so clearly and i actually for once felt interested in mma. i liked the world-building and the attention to detail with the setting. initially i thought it was kind of confusing and sort of lacking but it made itself clearer as the story progressed (like i said bru) and i really enjoyed that. dialogue felt canon as fuck and i could really picture the characters saying the majority of things that they said (levi, reiner, erwin). loved the use of side characters. they really contributed to the world-building and all around made this story better. some of the side characters sort of disappeared as the story progressed which i sort of understand because it became more focused on the mma fight and the actual main relationship but i still would really have liked to see more of sasha(!!!) and armin(!!) and maybe his relationship with annie(!). reiner and levi were my favorite side characters by far. intimate stuff took some points off and i genuinely feel this story could have gone without it (also generally not a big fan). all in all, pretty good story and im glad i sticked through to the end.

big fat kudos. incredible job... so... well... done... this story was just amazing. the plot felt so realistic and honestly something i could see happen in real life.. excellent use of side characters. we didn't get to see them alot, but i felt they played a significant role even with how little they showed up. where they showed up, they contributed well enough to the world-building that i have no complaints. they honestly didn't even seem necessary in this story because the goal was to focus on the two main characters and their strained relationship. the writing was just phenomenal.. so descriptive and so beautifully done... another immersive ass story.. didn't wanna stop reading... hooked from the start dude... eren's dreams of his future with mikasa in chap 3 were so beautiful dude. this fic felt so canon to og characters. i felt like i was reading genuine dialogue from the show. so angsty as well... found myself yelling out when eren just wouldnt speak his mind and was being a pussy. the amount of times eren could have solved all his problems by just going through with what he was thinking was insane. the amount of times he WORSENED shit by either not saying anything or by saying some stupid shit... crazy... something he would ACTUALLY do btw. garden variety idiot. the ending was ultimately a happy one and i appreciated that so much. i came into this knowing there was gonna be hellaaa smut so i didn't expect much from this story. im not one for that smutty shit so when i see i try to skip over it. yeah now that i think about it there was alot of smut for the majority of chapter 4 but it was kind of beautiful, so i dont plan on taking points off for it. as much as i could have gone without it, it honestly sort of added another level of intimacy and like fulfillment for their future. really good stuff. finally, after all the angst that had me at the edge of my seat, after all his delusions and internal thoughts... all the dreams of mikasa and the one of her dying and all his friends basically telling him to stop being a pussy, he finally goes through with it. happy ending they deserved. absolutely beautiful story.

damn... dont really know where to begin. this story was rough. rough because of how fucking sad it was. not a happy ending, not a happy story. i was warned about that when i came into this to be honest, so i wasn't reallyyyy surprised. it was so, so well done though. i really really really liked the writing. it felt so entertaining and soooo unique. metaphors for the characters that coincides with the title and becomes explained later? hell yeah. so well done. writing was almost addicting. characters felt canon and they just made sense. im not one who struggles with anxiety or any mental disorder but i felt like i could really picture it because of the writing. writing genuinely made me envision what a party would feel like for somebody incredibly anxious. so fucking good. the plot was really really good honestly. no matter how sad and dark it was it was still done so well. im really one for the really sappy happy stories but this was just the opposite and i thought i would have hated it. to my surprise, i enjoyed it because of how grounded it felt and realistic. the mention of violence, abuse, heavy drug use, anxiety, ptsd, and loss of a close friendship felt so real... holy shit... the characters learning how to cope and live with these traumas and themes was just so fascinating, but also just fucking depressing dude. i just felt so bad for all the characters and how deeply they were struggling. loved the use of side characters and how important they were to the fic. really really liked how they contributed to the plot and how they weren't just thrown off and forgotten about. also liked the chapters sometimes dedicated to them. first 3 chapters were the happiest and i was so excited then it all went downhill. got depressing real fast. kudos to the author for the unique relationships each character had. also although intimate shit was included it wasn't super descriptive which i really appreciate, no points off. super super sad but necessary story. reminded me life isn't peaches n cream. definitely need some over the top happy sappy go lucky story to get over this.
points off for the bullshit cliff hanger and for never finishing it. sorry for what u went through though, author.

im not one for the levi hange fics but this one was absolutely phenomenal. had me invested from the START. writing was amazing (EXCEPT for some of the terminology.... "boomer", and "simp"??? come on dude...), super descriptive and really immersive. character dialogue was amazing and it felt super canon and original to the characters. the plot was soooo fucking good and so interesting. the idea of them slowly regaining their memories of their past lives was SO good and SO well done and ive never seen it before and honestly i hope to see more of it. wish the marley people were included(zeke... vs levi... its a no-brainer) but for who was involved, i think the author did an excellent job with side characters. i really really really enjoyed them to be honest and seeing them play a semi-important to important role in the story was just master class. W ERWIN! it really added to the atmosphere and the world-building alongside that great writing. i LOVED the transition from POVS and i think it was done fucking excellently... top tier work! wish we coulda see more of that eremika side plot but author has a weird ass vendetta :/ don't include something in the tag if ur not gonna write about it dudeeee
..... 9.8.... out of.... 10
i read proceeding book and i would have included it in this review but it wasn't finished. i probably would have said the same thing about it, though.
