As an angel, Armin did not have the notion of life and death. The only way for an angel to die was for them to be killed by a demonic being – or to become one – and that was tough to achieve.
A demon had been spotted in this particular city a few weeks ago – one deemed dangerous enough to make it all collapse if he wanted to.
Armin was the angel sent from above with a clear mission: neutralizing the demon.

"It's been four years, Reiner."
Reiner never thought he'd see Eren again. And yet there he was, sitting in front of him. The two exchange some heated words until Eren has had enough and lunges at Reiner, pinning him against the wall by the throat.
Except, instead of a cry or a shout, Reiner's reaction is a lot more...unexpected.

Most people have gotten the image of Eren greatly disliking compliments regarding his looks. Whenever someone called him pretty or handsome, he'd answer with silence and hooded eyes.
Armin was an exception. Armin had started to notice how Eren swooned by sweet pet names, and how his gaze melted every time Armin complimented his looks or said to be proud of him.
And despite Eren's tough and angry outside, he trusts Armin in a way he trusts no one else.
Today Eren learns the difference between making love and fucking.
