Summary
Roboute Guilliman has fought wars, rebuilt worlds and carried the burden of the Imperium on his shoulders for ten thousand years. He believed he had lost all the people he deeply cared for long ago.
In M41, Ordo Chronos High Inquisitor Helena Voss-Kade drops her dying best friend Eta into the care of Apothecry Leortas on the MAcragges Honour. Eta is a former sublight Courier, pilot, explorer and wanderer from a forgotten age of humanity, who has crossed millennia while not even two hundred years old. Guilliman hopes to finally get a second chance to say “hello” to her, after missing his chance to meet her in M29. As Eta recovers, he has to face his own, millennia old emotions, while being called to a planet he cannot leave without weeks long ceremonies.
Fearing she will be gone again when he finally returns aboard his flagship. Leaving him behind in M41. For her Millenia are measured in lightyears. Will this little ping from the past stop long enough to meet him?He has this one chance, and no idea how to even approach her.

When the last ferry operator of a river barge finds an Ultramrines Drop Pod crashed on an isolated island, she embarks on a dangerous journey through smoke, tides, and enemy lines to retrieve its stranded occupants. To the Astartes she is only a mortal with an unusual boat; to Veen they are simply very heavy passengers...
Came up with that steering my own ferry.
