Summary
The figure was standing now. Tall. Broader than Matthew expected, his silhouette sharply outlined against the ghost-lit fog. The mist curled around him like smoke from an unseen fire. His head tilted slightly, and then—
He looked straight at Matthew.
Not past him. At him.
The fog stilled. The woods seemed to hold their breath. And it seems like everyone noticed.
“What the fuck— what the fuck, why is it staring at Matthew,” Hao blurted, his voice pitching higher with every syllable. His free hand flailed uselessly, clutching at Hanbin’s jacket like it was a talisman.
----
They say the abandoned train station in the woods was where the dead waited for someone they once loved.Matthew doesn’t believe in ghosts. Not really. But when he gets lost during a hike and stumbles upon the forgotten station, he feels something pull him in and doesn’t know why. But a soldier’s shadow lingers wherever he goes.

Summary
hiraeth
(n.) a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for the lost places of your past.Matthew doesn’t consider himself an irritable person. Having grown up in this dissonant kingdom, he’s experienced his fair share of cantankerous personalities all around who only knew how to communicate through splenetic rants and harsh curses. As critical of himself as he is, he’d like to think he’s a far cry from such tetchy individuals.
Who does come to mind, however, is a certain knight from the co-ruling Sirius faction.
Or: Matthew is forced to reconcile with a familiar face a year after the civil war is brought to an end. He comes to terms with a few things about himself along the way.

Summary
Park Gunwook is in love with Seok Matthew.
Much like how the sky is blue and the sun rises every morning, it's a simple fact of life. Like the sun rises every morning, Gunwook will wake up today, tomorrow and the next day loving Matthew.
Matthew wears a heart on his sleeve but it isn’t his— it's a dummy he keeps in place while his real heart catches in his gory insides, warm and fragile and much too vulnerable to ever see the light of day.
Christmas Day is the beginning of the end that kicks into motion the supernova collapse of Gunwook's solar system.
