Summary
Bodhi Durran has been best friends with Liam Mairi for nearly ten years, ever since they were thrown together by tragedy. They do nearly everything together and are as close as two friends can be. In fact, Liam is the ONLY person that knows Bodhi's secret-that Bodhi is gay. But then, one night changes everything, and suddenly, what once seemed impossible is now possible. Now, Bodhi must decide whether he's willing to risk his heart for the person he cares about the most: Liam.
Liam Mairi's best friend is Bodhi Durran. They are close, closer than close, and Bodhi is the only person in the world that truly gets Liam. They spend nearly every free second hanging out, making fun of their other friends, and playing video games. Then, one night changes everything, and now Liam has to confront feelings he never thought he'd have: feelings for his best friend. But can Liam accept who he is?
This is a self-discovery piece inspired by an earlier work of mine. This will be told from a dual POV as both Bodhi and Liam discover who they are both together and apart.

“Why a macchiato?” I finally ask as I steam the milk.
“Why not a macchiato?”
“Don’t be contrary.” I shoot back. “If you don’t like milk, order an espresso.”
“I do like milk.” He rests his elbows on the counter, a slow smile spreading across his face as he stares across at me.
“Then order a flat white.”
“Not that much milk.” One corner of his lips ticks up in a lopsided smirk.
My eye twitches. “F—” Fuck you, is what I was going to say, but at the last minute I realise he’s still a customer and I need to remain professional…and also I don’t want to give him the satisfaction of knowing how much he irritates me.
