Summary
You managed to convince Astarion not to go through with the Rite of Profane Ascension. He remains a vampire spawn, and you now offer your blood from time to time to help with his sanguine hunger until a solution is found.
Even though you had both decided to stay as friends back at Moonrise Towers, lines begin to blur once more as other cravings come to the surface… and things with Astarion are seldom uncomplicated.
_____________
Impatience gripped your nerves ferociously. "These things take time, Astarion."
"Oh, my darling… I have all the time in the world, but you only have a limited supply of blood," he whispered softly and you could almost taste his taunting words.

Summary
"Your history is meant to be just that, history. You aren't meant to have to do this again. You- love- Elizia-"
"I'm not going to be able to kiss you for a few days after," she says. "Touch in general is likely to be off the table too."
Astarion's face hardens, closing off further than she's seen since the early days, he lets go of her. "No."
"For what it's worth, I'm sorry," she says, tone of voice cooling further with every word she has to force out. There's things he needs to hear before she returns to Haarlep. "If I time this right it shouldn't go too far but I understand if you want time, space, to re-evaluate us. Afterwards. This means nothing to me, I need you to hear that, to know that, Astarion."
***
I wanted to flesh out the encounter with Haarlep in the House of Hope more 'cause it struck me as a little odd that your companions have absolutely nothing to say about it, especially if you have a partner.
The dialogue isn't accurate to the game and there isn't a lot of detail with Haarlep but it's your responsibility as a reader to consider the tags.
