    Gaon wonders briefly how the night would have turned out if he hadn’t argued with Yohan at all, if he hadn’t rushed in with baseless accusations about crimes committed and not. If he hadn’t made the decision to pick his coat up and walk home.

    But, apparently, this is something that Chairwoman Jung has been planning for a while. Enough that he’d been watched, that they’d known who to call when they’d spotted him walking home alone in the dark.

    Gaon thinks that he might never be okay again.
