Summary
SPOILERS ALERT: SET AFTER SEASON 2, ACT III.
"When the arcane and the cosmos themselves collapsed around them, surging through the realms in one fell swoop as light parted the universe, destroying the seam of power they'd spent years creating, everything suddenly went silent. Jayce had no reason to believe he was anything other than departed. He was no immortal and, despite contrary belief, neither was Viktor. He'd cheated death plently before, but not this time. He was allowing himself to let go, he'd done his duty. He had never been more sure of anything in his life.
But, this... this wasn't what he'd anticipated."
