“Do you think the North Star has a soulmate?” He asked, curious to what Jisung may say.
“If it did it would probably be Sigma Octantis. It is the Southern Pole Star.” Jisung started turning the lights off as he spoke, tiredness lacing his tone.
“Is it near the south pole? Wouldn’t that mean they will never meet?” Donghyuck had wondered out loud.
“When stars collide they either merge together or collapse, creating a black hole. The explosion from the latter leaves remnants of the stars to float around the galaxy. I guess that is a lot like what people think soulmates are, a gamble in success or failure.”

“Make a wish,” Renjun says.
Donghyuck’s quiet for a few seconds. “I hope I make it onto United’s club football team,” he says.
“Typical,” Renjun snorts. “You have a football shaped heart, I swear to god.”
“Your turn.”
Renjun thinks for a moment, his brow furrowing in concentration.
“I want to be seventeen forever,” he says.
Donghyuck finds something in Renjun that changes him.
