The burning pain is starting to come back again. It begins in his chest this time, slightly to the right. Yuuji swallows, reaching up to press his hand against it.
So, he thinks dazedly, as the universe begins to take him apart. This is what happens when you break a Binding Vow.

Megumi dies in Shinjuku. Yuuji is thrown back in time to save him. Again, and again, and again.

He exhales just as he hits the ground. His skin sinks into him. His bones make a sickening sound as they crush under him. His blood flows freely out of him. His muscles spasm and then quit. All for a few seconds.
Five seconds.

OR-- An Itafushi time loop story with Yuji angst written by an author who loves those two a little too much and enjoys Nanami's face (very obvious). The author also enjoys the father/son dynamic of Gojo and Megumi/ Yuji and Nanami. The author also loves yapping. She talks a LOT. Beware. She can't help but insert her own opinions into her stories.
