    Summary

In a cyberpunk world, James Bond adapts to the times yet again... by becoming a cyborg.

After a mission for MI6 goes wrong, James Bond is gruesomely tortured and his mortal body is ruined. He is considered a viable candidate for the 00 program, a black project involving creating weapons of mass destruction out of human spies. Bond's human consciousness is uploaded to a deadly cybernetic endoskeleton and tailored to look like his former self using artificially constructed flesh. While the surgery is a success, his memories are scrambled due to leftover trauma.

The seventh successfully augmented 00 agent undergoes a lifelike simulation inside his own mind that is designed to train him to use his new abilities and help him regain his memories. But the only way for James to find his missing lover, Vesper Lynd, and her mysterious kidnappers, is to undergo a simulation of the very memory that he doesn't want to relive: the one that led to his demise.
