The year is 246 of the Terran Calendar. After almost 2 and a half centuries, the Governing Corporations have made history. The two biggest companies, Pharmbryo and Universal Appliance, have announced a merger. This will be the largest portion of territory owned by a single entity in the entire history of the Terran Conglomerate. Nations across the galaxy are hesitant to celebrate this news, but they can ultimately do nothing as The Free Market decides what is best.
Meanwhile, Edward Cole Rogers is a Terran highschooler who is struggling with the mounting expectations of his school and his family. As he struggles to find a balance, an otherworldly being watches him, intent to make him no longer a Terran and no longer a man.
