Summary
Years after the trauma that shattered Alexandria's peace, Maggie and Negan find themselves trapped in a forced coexistence, stirring up old resentments and unspoken desires. Maggie tries to keep her distance, driven by pain and loyalty to the past, but Negan seems unable to shake his own obsession-a dark and complex attraction that binds him to her more than any other mistake he's made. With Hershel now watching and seeking answers Maggie refuses to give, the tension mounts, each confrontation revealing layers of a dangerous game of redemption and desire. As secrets from the past threaten to destroy any chance at new promises, Negan wonders: how far would he be willing to go to finally claim the peace-or Maggie-that he believes he deserves?

Trauma, volatile emotions, the passage of time, and being forced to rely on each other to survive can change things just as much as they can change people.
If you don't like this pairing, simply don't read it :)
