Summary
Roxas abuses drugs to escape his pathetic middle-class existence and childhood trauma. Axel obsesses over his dead fiancé to escape bitter truths and crushing guilt. A fateful meeting at a drug dealer's apartment brings the two of them together and they form an unsteady relationship comprised of debts, relapses, road trips, concussions, and grocery store shopping cart rides. As they both try to escape their pasts by any means necessary, they realize letting go isn’t easy when the root of the problem is settled deep into their veins.

Summary
Unruly Prince Axel is as ready as he'll ever be (aka, not ready at all) to inherit the kingdom from his father the King, a man with the elemental powers of a dragon as well as a cruel and merciless reputation. Said reputation seems to have passed down to Axel even before the kingdom is his to rule - everyone only ever sees him as a fool, something inhuman and worthy of being feared, or a combination of the two. Except the new stable boy.
