Summary

The stargazer is not expecting company until tomorrow, but she arrives anyway, a night early and carrying with her the strange melancholy of an ending soon to come. The ending comes, indeed; dreaded enough to almost be expected, and yet so long before its time that nothing could ever have prepared for it.

Summary
It is a warm, lazy afternoon. The wind is next to completely still, ocean waves only gently lapping against the shores and the deep green grass of the vast fields nearly unmoving. Autumn is slowly creeping in over the island, but the Dew farmhouse still clings to the last traces of August heat. Its lone inhabitant is lying on her stomach on the couch, chin rested in the hand that isn’t holding her book down and surrounded only by the old house's quiet ambience. She is content here, but as of late, something has been missing.
Or: Maya hasn't heard from Alex in quite some time. Then, like a bolt from the blue, Alex shows up at her doorstep.

Summary
Midwinter is different here. You are used to the snow, the long nights, the cold, harsh wind—and yet, this is not the same winter as the one you know so well.
An exploration of what the main character’s arrival and adventure on Jorvik might feel like first-hand, told through short glimpses into their journey. Follows the main story up until Saving Anne, and thereafter diverges somewhat (though not all too wildly).

Summary
The August night is dark and the stars bright when five young heroes leave Jorvik’s western shores. Tomorrow, all will be well, but tonight they find themselves in the strange space between the happy ending and the bright, hopeful future.
Or: the night after Garnok, one Soul Rider at a time.
Does NOT take place in the same canon as jorvikpov/Moments in Time.

Summary
Alex has been sleeping over in Moorland while waiting for a particularly important foal to be born. She enjoys the rare opportunity to spend some time with Maya, but it turns out that sleepovers with your best friend become significantly more difficult when the realisation that you're in love with her begins to sneak up on you.
Or: the Mayalex getting together fic, the way I imagined it to be canon in my first playthrough of the game. Takes place during the Starbreed quest day blocker where you wait for the Haflinger foal in Moorland to be born (except here it's been several days because foals are born when they feel like it, not when Rhiannon would like them to be).
Title from In Memoriam by The Oh Hellos, even though the rest of the song doesn't really fit the vibe here.
