Ymir had wondered on many occasions if Historia was truly as naive as she pretended to be, or if she was only using the act to torture Ymir. Surely at this point the entire training corps knew how Ymir practically worshipped the ground she walked on. She wasn’t exactly the subtle type. Still, Historia had never seemed to react to her open flirtation and had ended up inviting Sasha and Annie to what Ymir had thought she’d been very clear was a date. Not a girls’ night. Her impending heat was just another miserable test the universe thought it funny to subject Ymir to, rubbing salt in her painfully unrequited wound. She sniffed the air once more and was hit with the heady scent of omega, sending a shiver down her spine that had nothing at all to do with the cold outside.

“It’s the way they look at you.” Erwin’s voice broke the silence once more a few moments later, this time his tone was reserved somehow, softer.
Even with his back toward the Commander, the way that Levi's eyes rolled was palpable in the charged air settling between them.
“And how do they ‘look at me’, Commander?”
When he turned he found the Commander was halted in the middle of the corridor, jaw clicking the way it always did when he was thinking - that sharp mind of his clearly mulling something over.
“They look at you like they want to fuck you.” He answered plainly.We’ve all seen “Erwin charming noblewomen to get more donations” but what about Captain Levi who does the same, resulting in a very jealous Commander.

Summary
There’s a tempest raging in Lena’s chest. Love and hate, anger and affection, the impulse to break down and confess everything – Hope, Lex’s final words, everything – and the betrayal that still haunts her, still makes her want to hurt, to sting back. A good person would push past the dark thoughts, put their effort into forgiving and moving forward. A good person wouldn’t take the easy route, and continue the cycle of hurt.
Kara brushes their noses together lightly, like she hasn’t brought Lena’s whole world crashing down with her lies, and the hurt pushes harder. The anger bubbles forth, and Lena clenches her jaw.
She isn’t good, after all, is she? She never has been. Just ask her mother.
Lena reaches down, aligns Kara’s fingers, and presses them inside to the knuckle.

After the reveal, Lena decides to cope with her conflicted feelings through a friends with benefits arrangement – only, without the ‘friends’. Unsurprisingly, it does not end well.
