Nights like tonight only happen once in a blue moon—Shouyou's eyes gaining an unusual intensity to them, similar to his expression in the midst of a difficult match. It's times like these that nothing can stop Shouyou from getting—no, taking—what he wants from Tobio.

And really, he noticed a difference in his playing when he started taking proper care of his hands. He’s tried time and time again to stress this to his other teammates, namely Hinata, who won’t bite no matter how much Kageyama insists it will improve his game play.
With all his knowledge of cuticles and hangnails and the like, he can say with absolute certainty that having your nails painted as a volleyball player is not good for them.
Why, then, does Hinata waltz into practice with his nails coated in a deep purple? And why can’t Kageyama seem to look away?--------------
basically hinata lets natsu paint his nails one day, and being the loving big brother he is, he refuses to take it off. kageyama is left to suffer the consequences
