Now she’s the one clinging to life, and Ruby is trying very hard not to fall apart around her.
Weiss Schnee—a witch in hiding—doesn’t do sentimentality. She does survival, cost, and consequences.
Magic has its costs. Always.

Summary
Ruby and Weiss weathered through the worst life could toss at them and found love along the way. But the road to their happily ever after isn't all sunshine and rainbows. It's more like a poorly paved road on a steep incline bogged down by heavy rain and goofball-sized hail.
Luckily, they're both prepared because what else could possibly go wrong? Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong... or so they thought.
The curveballs keep coming, but Ruby and Weiss are stronger together and nothing will tear them apart.

Everyone she's ever met falls neatly into one of those two categories. Board members, office workers, even her own family. The distinction can be blurred further to say that they all want something from her. But what does she want? She wants something new. She wants proof that even just one person can be different(no, Blake doesn't count). When the Schnee Hospitality Group opens up a new restaurant in her own city, Weiss finally finds that something new and exciting: Someone that irritates her to no end.
