When the power goes out in Simon's apartment block two days before Christmas when he has a big project due, he is less than impressed. But help comes from the most unexpected place – his reclusive upstairs neighbour Wilhelm, with whom he bonds over their shared dilemma, chocolate, and flickering candlelight. Maybe this power cut could be the best thing that's ever happened to him.
A fluffy power cut fic for anyone who (like me) wanted Wilmon to be cold in this current heat.

“Hi! You can take any free table you want and I'll be there to take your order in a moment,” A soft voice with a diminutive Spanish accent dragged Wilhelm out of his thoughts. He dragged his eyes off one of the tables to the waiter. He was wearing an obviously oversized, black uniform t-shirt tucked into a pair of brown jeans. Wasn’t brown and black like a fashion crime? He had a few dark curls draped over his forehead but the rest of his hair was tied up to neat space buns, it looked pretty.
Wilhelm smiled in response, giving him a slight nod of acknowledgement and making his way to one of the tables.
Or
Wilhelm was forced to move to Stockholm for university and ends up sharing a rented apartment with Simon. And it turns out sharing isn’t half as bad as he thought, when you fall in love with your roommate.
