Will pressed his face to the glass, wishing that he were closer. The man’s cheeks were pale, having thick eyebrows and lips. His nose was long, though it didn’t disrupt the harmony of the man’s features. His eyes were the most captivating part of his face: wide and brown, reflecting the moonlight.
In other words, he was beautiful.
Will found himself blushing, feeling foolish for swooning over the knight, who clearly was just doing his job. He couldn’t help but itch for his parchment and ink, to see the man up close, take in those eyes when they weren’t forced to remain a disciplined neutral.

His tiny frame with his bowl cut and tightly buttoned plaid. The day they met. Will walks toward the swings in a trance. He knows a young Mike is around here somewhere, knows he should be looking for him to look for a connection to the next memory, like El said. But he already knows where Mike will be, and he can’t help to see his younger self in this moment. The young Will is looking down, dragging his feet into the dirt rather than actually swinging. He seems almost out of focus, like it’s hard to look at him. Probably because Mike hasn’t noticed him yet.

But that was the exact problem, nothing was happening he was still just Will, and no presentation meant he was a beta. The idea of talking about his disappointment was scary, and the idea of telling anyone, even his sister, how much he longed to be an omega seemed painful, like he was actually admitting that he was never meant to be an one, and that all of his instincts had been wrong."

Will Byers is turning 17 very soon, and for him that means he is a beta. He's made it this far without presenting, but still is holding out some hope that he will present as an omega. Being an omegas always made the most sense for him, and best of all if he were an omega he may have a chance with his best friend.
