“Who was that?” Andrew’s tone is that careful neutral he always maintains it at, but Nicky knows better than to assume he feels any such way. He’s only now learning how to better read the younger man, but anger is an emotion he knows well enough to pick up with ease.
Still, Nicky sighs and leans back on his elbow. This doesn’t matter, he knows it, he just has to make sure the twins know it too. “Just some lame homophobe with a complex,” he says, and means it too. “Never met him before.”
Aaron scoffs. “Bullshit.”

Summary
Nicky has been struggling with his mental health for a while. He tries to hide it from the others, but after a more or less public meltdown, he can't hide it any longer. The other foxes, as well as Wymack, Abby and Betsy want to help him, but Nicky doesn't know how to accept help from others.
I feel like, as a fandom, we don't talk enough about this boy's trauma, so I wanted to write a little something about it. The characters might be a bit ooc, because I've read too much fanfiction and I don't remember what's canon anymore :D
Please mind the tags, there are some heavy subjects in this. I will also post specific warnings in front of every chapter.
