Summary
Gianna Gilbert was a normal high school teenager. She had great grades, played multiple instruments, and hung out with her amazing friends. Her twin sister was her best friend, her little brother was annoying but sweet, and she had two incredible parents. That all changed the day that her parents' car went over Wickery Bridge with her sister inside. Her sister survived, and they became even more dependent on each other than they were before. Her brother closed himself off, turning to drugs to cope with their parent's death. Gianna didn’t know how to live anymore. How will she get through her junior year of high school without her parents? What is going on with the once-quiet town of Mystic Falls? And what is her connection to this supernatural world that she and Elena find themselves thrust into?
